    Hey guys!

So I ran into this problem, that every time I extrude a cap of a freshly created cylinder, Maya automatically creates faces which edges will merge in the center of the cylinder (See screenshots). I even reinstalled Autodesk and Maya, because simply resetting my tools or Mayas ‘prefs’ folder did not change anything about it.

Thanks for the help in advance!
